Aball Muse on Pretty Ugly…..
the vision realized by years of musical creation in its early stages of ascension
Pretty Ugly is a marriage of opposing forces. “Our music is all about finding common
ground in a world of polarity…” says A-ball Muse, front man and songwriter for the 4
piece band. Drawing on hip hop, punk rock, metal, funk and reggae, Pretty Ugly portray
a cross section of American youth unconcerned with genre-defined boundaries. A
powerful voice of the street cultures of modern society, Pretty Ugly embraces all walks of
life in the new urban sound scape.
The eclectic but natural blend of rock music that consistently lives in the realms of hip-hop, funk, r & b, pop, and punk. This style has been coined ‘American Classic’ by Tshisuaka Tshiakatumba. But labels aren’t important in describing the band that has no limits or lanes in which to stay.
