Breakbeat Files – Scratchmaster Chuck T – Jazzy Way

We’ll its been a while but i’m back with more funk for the trunk. I’m gonna switch it up a bit and focus this thread on a semi-obscure 12 inch rap record off the Creative Funk label from 1991. There doesn’t seem to be much known about Chuck-T but from the song credits i’m guessing he was out of Virginia. The Slick Rick sample hook sets up the track nice with its pulsing bass line and whining string loop, mixed with Chucks braggadocios raps and a sick scratch solo about half way in. Stupid-Dope-Slammin on the Silly tip!
